Flutter UKI Launches Gaming Innovators Competition for Female-Focused Startups
Flutter UKI is launching a competition for startups to create a female-focused gaming product in the UK and Ireland. The winning startup will partner with Flutter to launch their product across the UK and Ireland. The competition is part of Flutter's Alpha Hub program, which aims to cater to female gamers.
Flutter's leading brands in its UKI division – Sky Betting and Gaming, Paddy Power, and Betfair – are looking to partner with a high potential startup to seize the opportunity to better serve the fast-growing female customer-base in the UK and Ireland. The competition encourages startups to focus on social and community gaming to attract female customers. The solution presented should be a digital entertainment destination that focuses on helping customers to unwind, have fun, and relax. There is also a ‘wildcard option’ for those startups that can provide interesting ideas that don’t quite fit the brief. This allows such companies to submit their solutions on how Flutter can create safe, entertaining experiences for female customers now and in the future.
The partnership offers the winning startup a commercial partnership, demo day, workshops, and networking opportunities. Steve Birch, Chief Commercial Officer at Sky Betting & Gaming, expressed excitement about the competition and the opportunity it presents. Applications for the competition are open until 15th March 2024.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
