Fantasy Poker Drafts: USA and Russia Results
The American fantasy poker draft with a $25,000 buy-in featured 11 teams, four fewer than the previous year. The draft saw intense competition, with Jason Merce and Jason Somerville emerging as the winners for the second consecutive year.
Eugene Kachalov had a chance to win but ultimately lost due to poor performance by Yoval Bronstein. Sergey Rybachenko named the team of Jason Merce as the main favorite of the draft, highlighting their strong lineup.
The team of Robert Mizrahi finished second with 564 points, while Todd Brunson's team finished third with 556 points. The Russian draft with a $1,500 buy-in featured 14 teams. The winning team was represented by six forum members: iskander, YoThatsLemon, Vlastelin, JustTry, ZVER2, and Uvelir. They won with a significant lead of over 100 points.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
