Evander Kane Accused of Betting on His Own Games
Evander Kane, a hockey player for the San Jose Sharks, is suspected of betting on his own games. His wife, Anna Kane, posted about it on Instagram, and sports journalist Mark Shiey shared the post on Twitter.
Evander Kane responded to the allegations on Twitter, stating he is ready to cooperate with the NHL's investigation. He said, "Facts are that last year I had my best season of my career, which I am very proud of. I love hockey and would never do anything that has been said. I am willing to cooperate with the league's investigation to clear my name."
If the investigation confirms Evander's guilt, it is likely that he will not play in the next season, and his professional career may be at risk.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
