Eibinger and Vogelsang Strike Gold at Triton Monte Carlo

The Triton Super High Roller Series is underway at the Monte Carlo Casino.

Matthias Eibinger won the Triton Monte Carlo Main Event, taking home $3,461,261. Eibinger defeated 134 rivals to secure the winner's slice of a $16,875,000 prize pool. This victory marks Eibinger's biggest win yet, adding significantly to his career earnings. Along with the prize money, Eibinger also received a Jacob & Co timepiece and a luxurious stay aboard a Bombay yacht with five friends, courtesy of the luxury brand Bombay.

Christoph Vogelsang won the $100,000 NL Hold'em 8-Handed event, securing $2,644,000. Vogelsang's remarkable comeback from a single chip worth only one big blind to winning the event showcased his skill and resilience. He faced formidable opponents including Phil Ivey, Jonathan Jaffe, Daniel Dvoress, and Danny Tang, ultimately emerging victorious after agreeing to a deal with Nacho Barbero during heads-up play.

I've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
