EducaPoker Reflects on 2017 Successes and Looks Ahead to 2018
EducaPoker has had a lot to celebrate in 2017. The community grew significantly with the addition of notable players and new services like the Área 51 and the EducaSpin Project. The project, which started in its early months, increased the number of teachers to accommodate all students.
The online poker landscape also saw significant developments. Rooms like PartyPoker and Bwin improved their offerings and included enhancements to their 'spins' or multimillion-dollar tournaments. Sportium has been instrumental in establishing the iPoker network in Spain and will help bring players to various live tournaments in 2018, including GPS, LÑP, SPF, LCP, and many more. Casino Barcelona has also been a key player, with a record-breaking CEP and partnerships with 888poker.es to maintain the CNP as one of the most demanded circuits.
Internationally, events like the WSOP, SisMix, and WPT were highlighted, along with notable performances by Javi Tsunamy, Kikuxo, and Fernando Heredia. The community is also preparing for international liquidity sharing between Spain, France, Italy, and Portugal in the near future. EducaPoker plans to restructure its faculty, introduce new services, expand the Plan Summa, and make changes to the EducaSpin Project in 2018.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
