Darya Krashennikova: How Training Helped Me Overcome Poker Challenges
Darya Krashennikova, a prominent figure in the poker community, began her blog and streaming career in 2016. She actively streamed until late 2021, when she decided to focus on professional poker. Krashennikova's journey has been marked by both successes and challenges, including a significant win at the BSOP high roller tournament in Brazil in 2022, where she earned $66,000.
However, her poker career took a downturn when she lost around $40,000 over six months playing at higher stakes. This period of struggle led her to seek help from trainer Damir Mirakl, who identified several fundamental errors in her game. Krashennikova then worked with trainer Sergey Elendil for six sessions, further honing her skills.
In addition to Elendil, Krashennikova trained with Vlad pravdazatoboy for a year and a half. She also mentioned the intense and informative training sessions with Igor BombaZota13, which provided her with new insights and strategies. Krashennikova emphasized the importance of continuous learning and self-doubt in improving her poker skills, highlighting the value of working with multiple trainers and constantly seeking new information.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
