Daniel Negreanu Sets Ambitious Goals for 2017 After Reflecting on 2016

Daniel Negreanu, a renowned poker player, has set ambitious goals for 2017 after reflecting on his performance in 2016. Negreanu did not achieve his goal of winning $2.5 million in 2016, earning only $302,452. He played only 49 tournaments, falling short of his goal of 55. Despite these setbacks, he achieved his goal of reaching the top 3 in WSOP cashes for all time, with 92 cashes.

Looking ahead to 2017, Negreanu has set several high goals. He aims to win at least $2.5 million in prize money. He also plans to win three WSOP bracelets, a feat he believes is achievable. Additionally, Negreanu wants to surpass 100 WSOP cashes, needing 8 more to reach this milestone. He plans to maintain his lead in career earnings, currently facing competition from Erik Seidel. Negreanu aims to win the WSOP Player of the Year title for the third time, a record he holds alongside two other players. Finally, he wants to make it to the November Nine, the final table of the WSOP Main Event.

Negreanu's goals for 2017 reflect his determination to improve his performance and maintain his status as one of the top poker players in the world. With his experience and skill, he is well-positioned to achieve these ambitious targets.
