Chris Moneymaker Partners with MuchBetter for Exciting Poker Promotion
Chris Moneymaker, the 2003 WSOP Main Event champion, has signed a deal with MuchBetter, a European e-wallet provider. MuchBetter has a diverse line of brand ambassadors, including a female footballer, a cricket club, a boxer, and another poker pro, Felix Schneiders. The deal with MuchBetter includes three lucky winners receiving $10k buy-ins to the WSOP Main Event, flights, and accommodation for two. Entrants must open a MuchBetter account and deposit $86 to participate in the promotion. Included in the amazing prizes are exclusive one-on-one sessions with the legendary pro.
Moneymaker's win in 2003 was worth $2.5 million and changed his life completely. However, Moneymaker is considering participating in this year's WSOP due to recent changes in vaccination rules.
Moneymaker's dispute with PayPal involved the company freezing his account and confiscating $12k he was holding for a fantasy NFL league. Moneymaker and his lawyer Eric Bensamochan launched a class-action lawsuit against PayPal.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
