BetRivers Poker Poised for New Jersey Launch, Expanding to Five States
BetRivers Poker is preparing to take its next major step: an online poker launch in New Jersey. BetRivers Poker has confirmed that work toward regulatory approval and platform readiness is well underway, with expectations that the site could debut in the first half of 2026.
The move will extend BetRivers’ existing four-state network — Pennsylvania, Michigan, Delaware, and West Virginia — into one of the most established online poker markets in the United States. When complete, it will mark the first legal five-state shared-liquidity poker network in the country.
BetRivers entered the US online poker space less than two years ago and has expanded rapidly since, connecting all four of its live markets. That foundation has positioned it to add new states efficiently as regulatory approvals are secured. Last year, the company had initially indicated that a New Jersey rollout could arrive before the end of 2025. While that timeline shifted slightly, BetRivers maintains that New Jersey remains a top priority and that the project has continued to progress behind the scenes.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
