Betfair Poker Live! Kyiv Moved to Tallinn Due to Gambling Uncertainty
The Betfair Poker Live! tournament, which was supposed to take place in Kyiv from January 17 to 23, 2011, has been moved to Tallinn. This decision was made due to the unstable situation in the gambling business in Ukraine.
The tournament in Tallinn will be held from April 12 to 17, 2011. Betfair has assured players that those who won packages in online satellites can choose another tournament in the series, either in Tallinn or London.
Betfair has emphasized that the interests of the players are their top priority, and they hope that the situation in Ukraine will stabilize soon, allowing them to resume the series in the country.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
