Augusto Segundo Takes the Lead in CBP High Rollers Tournament
The High Rollers tournament of the 2nd stage of the Campeonato Brasiliense de Poker (CBP) began yesterday, and Augusto Segundo is currently in the lead with 253,600 chips. The guaranteed prize pool of 15,000 reais has already doubled to 30,000 reais.
The tournament will resume today at 20:00, with Late Registration ending at the end of the 2nd level of Blinds. This means that players who did not participate yesterday or were eliminated still have a chance to compete for the last trophy of the 2nd stage of the CBP.
For those looking to spend less on entry, the last satellite for this tournament will be held at 16:00.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
