Atlanta Tourist Wins $10.3 Million Jackpot with $5 Bet in Las Vegas
A tourist from Atlanta scored a $10.3 million jackpot at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino with a mere $5 bet. The lucky player hit the jackpot after playing the slot machine for only about three minutes. The jackpot winner reportedly celebrated with other guests at the off-Strip property as well as with casino staff. After taxes, the winner will take home around $6 million, having chosen a lump-sum payment over an annual annuity. The Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino was once home to Elvis Presley, who performed 636 consecutive sold-out shows there from 1969 to 1976.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
