Andrej Gigaloff Shares His Poker Journey and Love for Limit Games
Andrej Gigaloff, a seasoned poker player, shared his journey and experiences in the world of poker, particularly his love for limit games. Gigaloff started playing poker 20 years ago while in school. He began playing online poker after receiving $50 as a starter when he was 18 years old. Initially, he played hold'em but soon discovered limit games, which he has been playing exclusively since 2010.
Gigaloff won his first WSOP bracelet in the HORSE tournament in 2018. He recently won the same tournament in 2025, sharing his experiences and the changes he noticed in the field over the years. He mentioned that the field has changed, with fewer players but still many amateurs. He also faced strong opponents like David ODB Baker, Yuri Dziwielski, and Brian Yun during the tournament.
Gigaloff's wife, Ira, who is a jeweler, commented on the quality of the WSOP bracelet, calling it a 'trophy' and a source of pleasant emotions.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
