Andoni Larrabe Makes History as First Spanish Player in WSOP Main Event Final Table
Andoni Larrabe has made history by becoming the first Spanish player to reach the final table of the WSOP Main Event, securing his place among the November Nine. The young poker player faced numerous challenges but emerged victorious, earning a spot in the prestigious final table.
Larrabe started Day 7 with over 15,000,000 points, but his journey was far from smooth. In less than 30 minutes of play, he lost half of his stack, which was a significant setback. However, Larrabe remained composed and made a crucial all-in call against Kerignard with JJ, turning the tide in his favor.
As the day progressed, Larrabe's stack was reduced to 30 big blinds before a critical all-in move. Despite the pressure, he managed to secure his position and became the only Spanish player among the final nine players in the WSOP Main Event.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
