Aliaksei Boika Secures First Triton Super High Roller Victory at Jeju Festival
Aliaksei Boika won the Triton Poker Jeju II festival's $25,000 eight-max event, earning $761,000. This victory marked his first win in a Triton Super High Roller event, beating 131 entries.
Boika's previous Triton successes include a runner-up finish in a $60,000 event and a sixth-place finish in the $100,000 main event. He now has over $10 million in lifetime tournament earnings, with more than half from Triton events.
Reda Achnit, who won his way into the event via an online freeroll on CoinPoker, walked away with $51,000 for his impressive debut. Seth Davies took the chip lead into the final eight, looking to add a second trident trophy to his expansive collection of poker tournament hardware. Boika knocked out Nevan Chang in fourth place ($282,000), with pocket queens holding against pocket sixes. Yu Lei took a stand during three-handed play with J♦10♥, limp-jamming from the small blind over Boika’s raise from the big blind. Boika had roughly a 5:3 lead over bracelet winner Philip Sternheimer when heads-up play began.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
