Adrian Mateos Secures Sixth WSOP Bracelet in $250,000 Super High Roller

Adrian Mateos won the $250,000 super high roller no-limit hold’em event at the 2026 World Series of Poker, earning $4,334,411 and his sixth career WSOP bracelet. This victory marked his second time taking home the gold in this event, having won the same tournament in 2021 for nearly $3.3 million.

The final table included nine players with over $379.1 million in prior earnings. All but two had eight figures in career cashes already, with four being among the top 12 on poker’s all-time money list, including first-ranked Bryn Kenney and third-ranked Jason Koon. As far as success specifically at the series, two-thirds of the remaining field already had at least one bracelet to their name, with the total count of 23 WSOP titles buoyed significantly by Phil Ivey’s 11 wins.

Mateos has now cashed for over $11.9 million since the start of May. He is the 29th player in poker history to have won six or more bracelets, and he is the fastest player to reach six bracelets, achieving this milestone at the age of 31. All of Mateos' six bracelets have been won in no-limit hold’em events. Phil Ivey was eliminated in eighth place with a preflop cooler against Bryn Kenney. Michael Moncek finished in eighth place, earning $518,518.
