Adrià Díaz 'Favelita' Secures Spot in Day 3 of WSOP Main Event
Adrià Díaz, known as 'Favelita', has secured his place in Day 3 of the Main Event at the World Series of Poker (WSOP). This achievement comes after a intense Day 2ABC where 265 new players joined, bringing the total number of entries to 8,694. 'Favelita' was the only survivor from the EducaPoker team, which also included Adrián Chabbi, Sergi Reixach, and Junior de Oliveira.
During Day 2ABC, the field was narrowed down significantly. Adrián Chabbi, Sergi Reixach, and Junior de Oliveira, who started with stacks of 87k, 29k, and 93.3k respectively, were eliminated at different stages of the day. Despite their elimination, they demonstrated a high level of skill and left everything on the tables.
With 'Favelita' advancing, all eyes are now on him as he prepares to return to the tables for Day 3. His goal is to continue progressing and secure a spot in Day 4. We wish him the best of luck in his journey through this prestigious tournament.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
