888poker has announced changes to its EducaPuntos and VIP Points policy, affecting both .es and .com players. Players on 888.es will continue to receive EducaPuntos but will no longer earn VIP Points. This change means that on February 28, players will not receive an equal amount of points generated in November and December, as points will be accumulated continuously.
888poker will provide a tool for players to upload their own reports, similar to the system used by PokerStars players. Once the tool is ready, players will be notified and can upload their reports starting from January 1, 2013.
For 888.com players, the changes are more significant. They will no longer receive EducaPuntos or VIP Points. As a result, the amount generated in November and December will be awarded on February 28. New registrations through EducaPoker links from January 1, 2013, will not earn EducaPuntos or VIP Points, as the agreement with the room is final and unchangeable.

Argus RivenI've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
