2026 WSOP Main Event: Final Nine Players Locked In for Million-Dollar Prizes

The 2026 World Series of Poker $10,000 no-limit hold’em main event has reached its final nine players, marking a significant milestone in the poker world. Each player at the final table is ensured at least $1,000,000, with $10,000,000 and the championship gold bracelet awaiting the eventual champion.

Lucas Jumalon of Eureka, Washington, carries a massive chip lead forward into the 2026 WSOP main event final table, with 194,000,000 chips. This lead is more than the next three biggest stacks combined, positioning Jumalon as a strong contender for the championship.

Michael Gagliano, a 41-year-old tournament veteran, has four career WSOP bracelets, with a 2016 live bracelet win and three online victories. Gagliano's experience and skill make him a formidable opponent at the final table. Greg Mueller, the oldest player at this final table at 55 years of age, is a three-time bracelet winner with a pair of wins in 2009 and another in 2019. Mueller's extensive experience in high-stakes cash games and mixed games adds another layer of competition to the final table.

I've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
