1win Poker Review: Is It Worth the Hype?

1win Poker, introduced in 2016, initially struggled to attract professional players due to limited games, inconvenient software, and a lack of generous bonuses. However, in 2024, the company allocated a significant budget for poker marketing, improved the client to meet modern standards, and attracted the first regulars.

Users have reported mixed experiences with 1win Poker. Some praise the soft fields at lower limits and the occasional presence of casino players at higher stakes. The loyalty program is also noted as decent, with weekly and monthly freerolls. However, the software is often unstable, with frequent issues like money not returning to the cashier and internal stats being poorly displayed. The minimum buy-in was raised to 40bb in mid-2025, addressing some of these concerns.

Creating an account on 1win Poker is straightforward, allowing players to use social networks, phone, or email for registration. However, the software has issues with password resets through the client, requiring browser use instead. Deposits can be made using cryptocurrency, local payment systems, or other convenient methods. The software has issues with multitabling, including delays in card dealing and opponent stats display. Despite these challenges, the lobby is not anonymous, allowing players to evaluate compositions and dynamics without sitting at the table.

I've spent years at the tables — cash and tournaments — and just as long shaping poker copy behind the scenes: room reviews, bonus fine print, tournament notes. At PokerInsider I write the way I wish more sites would: clear structure, honest trade-offs, no hype. Whether you're new or already grinding, I care about what the offer actually costs you — rake, variance, and the fine print — and I treat responsible play as part of the job, not a footnote.
